Lightbot 2.0
Today I'll be reviewing a game called Lightbot 2.0
This is the second installment of the series. In this game, you actually don't directly control anything. Instead, you input commands in a click & drag format and press RUN, you then see your tiny little robot follow your commands and complete the task.
The goal of each level is to light up the blue squares. You do this by entering the "light" command after guiding your robot to the goal.
Concept-Program a robot to walk, jump, teleport and complete other tasks in order to light up the blue squares. Kind of like the old arcade game "Q-Bert"
Gameplay- 8.9/10 The gameplay is pretty straight forward. The only complaint I have here is that it's hard to figure out which way you need to make him turn, not because you don't know, but because the perspective is the same no matter which way he turns.
Graphics- 8.5/10 Nothing spectacular, but that graphics that are there work well. Again, the complaint is the design of the "Turn" buttons.
Audio- 9.3/10 The background music is actually pretty catchy. It's not something that will get stuck in your head, but it's a nice addition. There's not really any sound effects, so the game can see kind of dull.
Replay Value- Moderate
