Saturday Roundup

Scared of Heights? Can't Swim?

Then don't go to the Marina Bay Sands Skypark. While the building itself may be a beautiful piece of architecture, the fact that the pool has no edges makes me queezy just thinking about it. How long until the glass breaks? Check out the full article over at Design Boom

Saturday Roundup

So…we changed the name to Saturday Roundup. In the interest of development of the blog, Saturday Census will be postponed until a later date. Saturday Roundup will be basically the end of the week, tell about the news, new gadgets, information, or whatever’s going on.

This morning, I’m going to start off with some interesting stuff from engadget.

The iPhone 4, critically acclaimed to be one of the best leading smartphones in the market, has had some reception issues lately. Apparently since the outer rim(see image) is the antenna, when people hold it, it severely cuts out reception.

Check back later for more roundup.

Top Things Thursday

Top 3 Things to do on your day off.

1. Go to the beach, then go out to dinner. (or do it at the same time). The beach is a relaxing place, and dinner is a nice setting, so do it with someone you love, or just go to the beach and relax and enjoy the sunset, or a nice afternoon.

2. Hang out with your friends, play some video games, go to the movies, have a discussion. Your friends are what make you. It's important to have a good time on your day off, so do it with the people you like. If they're busy on your day off, go somewhere and meet new people.

Check back later to see the number 1.

Speaking of Tetris from earlier, I came across this website a while back when pondering life's absurdities.

Definitely an efficient time waster, usually play this in my classes when I'm done my work. Nothing beats a classic game of Tetris in Javascript.
